Zane Smith, MPT (Owner)

Zane graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2001 with a BS in Biology. In the fall of 2001 Zane began Physical Therapy school with a focus in Orthopedics and Private Practice PT. After earning his degree in 2003, Zane moved to Newport, Oregon where he managed a rehabilitation facility and developed an outpatient program that later became the model for over 150 facilities across the northwest. At that facility Zane was able to grow an outpatient PT program from zero to 200+ patients per month in 6 months. This experience is what drove Zane to open his own privately owned clinic in Vancouver, Washington.

Zane has treated patients from pediatric to geriatric and everything in between. His primary interest is orthopedics and musculoskeletal injuries/conditions, but he has a wide-ranging experience and can assess whether PT treatment is appropriate or if the patient shall require referral to another type of provider. He chose to open Timberline Physical Therapy to provide the highest quality individualized Physical Therapy care with 100% patient centered focus.

Zane enjoys spending time with his wife, Leslie, and their two children at home in Washington, where he takes pleasure in home renovations, camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities. Zane and Leslie are heavily involved in their community and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Brenda Zink, PT

Brenda received her Physical Therapy degree from the University of Minnesota in 1985. She is licensed in both Oregon and Washington and specializes in Sports and Early Childhood Physical Development. She has worked for Integrated Health and Wellness, Vancouver Children's Therapy Center, the Professional Plaza PT in Portland, OR, and Merle West Medical Center in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Brenda currently works as needed at Timberline Physical Therapy Clinic in Vancouver WA.

Kelly Jones, DPT

Kelly joined our Timberline PT team in March 2010. She is a graduate of Elon University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She began working on the East Coast in 2008 with a private orthopedic practice as well as hospital-based outpatient orthopedics. Kelly is excited about bringing her experience and love of rehabilitation of the shoulder complex along with other overuse injuries. In her spare time she is a recreational indoor soccer player and has aspirations of forming a program focused on education and strengthening for young female athletes to prevent ACL and other injuries in their sport of choice. Kelly is currently living in Portland, OR and looks forward to exploring all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Maki Arai, LPTA

Maki received her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Whatcom Community College in Bellingham, WA in 1998. She worked for Kindred Health Care as an inpatient rehabilitation therapist assistant in Vancouver for 3 years. Prior to her work with Kindred Health Care, Maki worked for Pinnacle Health Care in Oregon, as well as an out patient clinic in Japan. She enjoys working with a variety of patients and seeing her patients’ progress through the therapy process is very rewarding to her. When she's not working, Maki likes to snowboard, watch movies, listen to live music and spend time with her newborn, husband and friends.

Misty White, Office Manager

Misty was raised in Roseberg, OR and graduated from Roseberg High School in 1990 and moved to the Portland Metro area to take on new adventures. Misty worked in a variety of employment situations from private childcare to State Registrar for Oregon Youth Soccer Association. In 2003 she made the move to Vancouver to live closer to family and began her adventure as a dental office manager. She recently made the move to Timberline in March of 2010 where she feels that she has found her perfect position. Misty spends her free time with friends and family. Misty is a mom to one son and he is an extremely important part of her life. They enjoy camping in their RV and playing on the Oregon Dunes.

Jaima Tidwell, Assistant Office Manager

Jaima was raised in Vancouver, WA. After Graduating from Mt. View High School she attended Clark College for a year. Jaima worked with Washington Mutual doing various banking positions and Escrow. After 10 years of employment, she felt the need for a change and a new adventure. She accepted the Assistant Manager position at Timberline Physical Therapy after getting great care as a patient. Jaima has been a Timberline team member since 2008 and she enjoys her work environment. Outside of work Jaima enjoys spending time with her husband of seven years. Jaima also enjoys travel; Hawaii being one of her favorite getaways, but she has plans to visit other areas of the world as well.
